CALL FOR PAPERS (ISSUE NO. 34)

Special issue: Hospitality

Dos Algarves: A Multidisciplinary e-Journal (DAMeJ) invites submissions of original articles for volume 34, to be published in May 2019.
For this special issue, we will consider articles in the area of hospitality, in particular in the following sub-areas:

• Education and training in hospitality;
• People management in hospitality;
• Quality management and certification;
• Quality and excellence in hospitality;
• Food hygiene and safety;
• Sustainability, ethics and social responsibility;
• Technological developments in hospitality;
• Accounting and finance in hospitality;
• Culinary arts – tradition and innovation;
• Conflict management in hospitality;
• Revenue Management;
• Innovative practices in hospitality;
• CRM - Customer Relationship Management.

Other relevant topics for the sector may also be considered.

Deadline for submission: 31st July 2018.

About the journal: Dos Algarves: A Multidisciplinary e-Journal (DAMeJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online journal published by the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism (ESGHT), University of the Algarve.

Guest-editors: Carlos Monteiro, Carimo Rassal & Maria José Marques

Indexation: the journal is indexed to Latindex, EBSCO, REDIB, and DOAJ.

Languages of publication: Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Selection process: all articles submitted to DAMeJ follow a three-step selection process:

1. Initial selection by the editors;
2. Double blind peer review by international experts in the research area;
3. Final review by a language specialist.
